CEIAM research group is part of the Universidad Industrial de Santander and is recognized by Colciencias in category A1. This interdisciplinary research group has more than 24 years of experience and has incorporated professors in the areas of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, and Environmental Microbiology. It is focused on the areas of diagnosis, analysis and solution of environmental problems, with lines of research in biotechnological processes, alternative energies, environmental management, cleaner production, biodiversity and conservation, water and soil recovery, water resources, air resources and solid waste.
