ABOUT THE
Program
The training of professionals in Plastic Surgery: Reconstructive and Aesthetic is based on a fundamental concept of communication that involves not only the teacher and the student, but also extends to the patient and other members who are part of the medical staff.
In this sense, it is important that strategies consider, among others, the formulation of questions, teamwork, case studies, comprehensive reading, seminars, workshops, master exhibitions, clinical journals, case care experience, project participation, and research promotion.
Regarding the latter aspect, it is considered that the student should have sufficient training in the management of the scientific method, possess the ability to integrate the knowledge of basic and clinical sciences, know how to write an investigative report, and prepare for a scientific conference, as well as develop the following research attitudes: observation, motivation, critical analysis, creativity, patience, and perseverance.
