Transparency and Public Ethics
Program
The Transparency and Public Ethics Program (PTEP) is a set of strategic actions that an institution defines and implements to promote transparency and ethics in public administration, fostering public trust in its institutions. The program seeks to identify, assess, control, and monitor corruption risks that may arise in the course of institutional activities, ensuring compliance with the principles of transparency, integrity, and good governance.
The UIS Transparency and Public Ethics Program (PTEP) seeks to sustainably promote a culture of legality, integrity, transparency, and shared responsibility in university governance through the implementation of strategic actions aimed at preventing, detecting, and managing risks that affect public integrity, as well as risks related to money laundering (ML), terrorist financing (TF), and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (PF). The program is aligned with the applicable legal framework and established guidelines, strengthening ethical, responsible leadership and management in accordance with the principles of public service and the responsible use of resources.
